Dr. Feola has been a veterinarian was over 20 years. He received a Bachelors in Biology and Chemistry from Atlantic Christian College (now Barton College) in Wilson, NC. He then went to NC State College of Veterinary Medicine to get his doctorate in 1993.
Dr. Feola was born in Vermont and went to school in Maine. He spent 4 years serving the United States Air Force. He is married to his amazing wife, Kathy, and together they have three kids, Chris, Elizabeth, and Michael.
His love for animals started very young and he really does not remember a time he ever wanted to be anything other than a veterinarian. He has a small farm and loves to garden on his spare time.
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Davis started with Aardvark in the winter of 2020. She was born and raised in the South; Dr. Davis knew at a very young age that her calling was to be a veterinarian. This journey began at Winthrop University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and minor in chemistry. Dr. Davis then migrated to Alabama where she earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University. Go War Eagle!
In addition to her passion for animals, Dr. Davis loves traveling, scuba diving, gardening, and water sports. She has two dogs, Sumi (pictured here) and Sadie
Mae, who are thoroughly spoiled. Sumi has been her constant companion since the beginning of veterinary school. Dr. Davis and her pups are excited to call the Garner area home and she can’t wait to meet you and your four-legged companions!
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Matthews joined our team in 2021. Her passion for helping animals started when she was young. She always found time to spend with animals whether it was taking her pets to the vet or feeding calves on her aunt’s dairy farm. She attended Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her DVM training in May, 2007. As part of that training, she completed an externship in a mixed animal practice in New Zealand where she gained valuable experience in working with people of different cultural backgrounds as well as in veterinary medicine.
She began practice in a rural mixed animal practice and has since practiced in several small animal practices. She practiced in Pennsylvania before relocating to North Carolina to be with her husband in 2010. Dr. Matthews has one daughter plus many fur babies of her own including 6 cats and 1 dog. She enjoys spending time with her family as well as crafting, baking, and clogging.
