Pet Wellness Exams

Puppy and Kittens (Under 1 year)

Aardvark Animal Hospital customizes puppy and kitten exams for their specific needs.

During your first visit:

• Your doctor will work with you to determine the ideal vaccine schedule based on your pet’s vaccine history, lifestyle, and exposure risks.
• Appropriate intestinal deworming and fecal testing
• Diet
• Behavior training
• Pet insurance
• Preventative Medications
• At the end of your visit, the technician will send you home with a vaccine schedule.

Dogs and Cats (1 year to 7 years)

Aardvark Animal Hospital Wellness Exam includes:

• Assessment of alertness and appearance
• Body scoring for ideal weight
• Checking skin and fur
• Heart and lungs will be listened to as well and palpitation of the abdomen
• The technician will go over preventative medications
• Aardvark will recommend year vaccines based on lifestyle and exposure risks.

We recommend that before you come to see us make sure you have the basic information such as food, medicine, supplements, behavioral issues and any concerns. It is a time for you to get actively involved in your pet's health care and to ask as many questions as you need to. This is a time for us to get to know you and your pet and to build a relationship that we hope will last their life time.

Senior Dog and Senior Cat (Over 7 years)

• Aardvark Animal Hospital Senior Exam is a more extensive wellness exam and we recommend more extensive blood work.
