• Your pet past history, breed, pre-existing conditions are also factors used to determine an anesthesia protocol.
• We have special anesthesia equipment that monitor blood pressure, heart rate and temperature during procedures.
• Our use of the highest-grad anesthesia combined with intravenous fluids on every patient helps ensure the safest possible procedure.
• IV catheter and fluid support are essential to maintaining normal blood pressure and allows the best injectable options in antibiotics, pain control and emergency medications.
• We refer out for ​TVSS (Tarheel Veterinary Surgical Specialist) is a mobile surgical practice, designed to provide excellent surgical care for your pet without disturbing the client-referring veterinarian relationship. Aardvark will call on their services for more detailed and in-depth surgeries.
• Their team performs a variety of orthopedic and soft tissue procedures in our hospital's operating room. This allows for continuity of care as your veterinarian will be performing the post-op treatment on your pet. Their surgeons also perform follow-up care on selected procedures and are always available if concerns arise.
